Dentist - Dr. Darren Schweymaier

Dr. Darren J Schweymaier is a '96 honors graduate of the University of Detroit. He completed a dental internship in Bay Mills, Michigan as well as a Residency Program at St. John's Mercy Medical center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Darren is a resident of the Walled Lake area with his wife and 2 children since 2000. Dr. Darren is Invisalign certified and currently an active member in the following societies:

• AGD - Academy of General Dentistry,
• AACD - American Academy Of Cosmetic Dentistry
• IAO - International Association Of Orthodontics

Office Manager - Becky Roose

Becky has lived in the area all her life and enjoys the lakes area and residents she has gotten to know through the dental office. She has 30 years combined experience in dental assisting and dental office management. Becky has been with Dr. Schweymaier at Community Dental since 2005. Becky enjoys meeting new people and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Schweymaier and his team appreciate the importance of continuing education and technology. They have traveled as a team to San Antonio Texas for the American Dental Association continuing education forum, and have worked in the lakes community to further educate children on the importance of dental care. In August of 2010 the Community dental team celebrated the ten year anniversary of the office by hosting a family centered gathering for all residents and patients alike.

Hygienist - Jackie Jackman

Jackie has worked for Community Dental for 17 years and for Dr. Schweymaier since he purchased the practice in 2000. Jackie graduated from U of M dental hygiene program in 1983 - RDH BS.
Jackie is a busy mother of three all star kids .  She enjoys attending hockey games that her kids are involved in as well as Detroit’s own Red Wings.  Her family has settled in the Lakes area and participate in many local activites.  

Hygienist - Karen Zeff

Karyn earned her B.S. from U-D Mercy in 1995. With over 15 years’ experience as a registered dental hygienist working in West Bloomfield, Northville, and Walled Lake, Karyn has worked with and truly understands patients of all ages, needs, and concerns. An excellent communicator with a vibrant yet calming personality, Karyn provides superior dental care as the newest member of the Community Dental Team. She is a wife and mother of two boys.

Dental Assistant - Alex Murray

Wife and mother of two lives in White Lake. Alex has been working as a dental assistant for 10 years. Alex is the newest team member to the Community Dental family and has been working for Dr. Schweymaier for just over 4 years. She likes to paint in her spare time and has recently taken up landscaping as a hobby.

Dental Assistant - Crystal Homminga

Crystal has been with Dr. Schweymaier's dental office since September of 2006. She enjoys getting to know her patients and offering a comfortable atmosphere. Putting a smile on her patients as well as employees faces is what she enjoys most. Crystal is currently pursuing her B.S degree in Health Care Administrations. Outside of work and school she likes to run, travel, charity work, and spend time with family and friends.
